What factors affect fence prices?

Quantity

On all types of fence, the more fence there is the more efficient it becomes for us to install it. This efficiency is a result of less travel time per job, Less transportation costs for products per job, less transportation cost for equipment per job, more efficient use of manpower and equipment.

Corners

Additional corners add to the cost of a fence both on the labor and on the materials side of things.

Terrain

Level ground is the simplest most economical place to build a fence. Hills, valleys, creeks & special land formations all effect the price of the quality installed fence

Gates

Gates are a necessary part of a good fence, but they are an additional cost both in materials and labor. They are also the only “moving” part of the fence. Therefore, it requires extra care to ensure that gates are correctly installed, adjusted properly and have sufficient strength to provide durability.

Warranty

What is the strength of the company to stand behind their products and services? This does not always affect price, but in some cases, it certainly can. The Company with the lowest prices, may not have the highest values, and may not feel like they can afford to continue to care for you and your investment after the installation.

Materials

Your investment cost varies between types of materials—like wood vs. vinyl vs. chain link—and the total quantity of material required, but quality of material varies as well. For example, some types of wood are higher quality than other types. Types and quality of material should be carefully considered when calculating the lifespan of your investment.
